Tom faithfully served the Meriden community for over 42 years. He's happily retired splitting his time between Meriden and Florida. In his free time he enjoys spending time with (and driving around) his grandchildren.

Patrick L. Ferry Vice President/Licensed Funeral Director

Patrick Ferry is a 5th generation funeral director. He grew up in Meriden, graduating from Maloney High School (Go Spartans!) Class of 1999. Patrick then attended UConn graduating in 2003 with a bachelor’s in accounting. After obtaining his CPA and working in the Accounting (KPMG LLP) and Finance (Travelers Insurance) field in Hartford for almost 10 years, Pat decided it was the right time for a career change. He and obtained his mortuary degree in 2013 from McAllister Institute in NYC and joined John J. Ferry & Sons that same year. Patrick has two children Parker and Ella. They currently reside in Cheshire. In his spare time, Pat enjoys landscaping, craft beer and watching the NFL.

Daniel T. Ferry Vice President/ Licensed Funeral Director

Dan was raised in Meriden where he still resides with his wife Emily and their four children, Gavin, Scarlett, Landon and Levi and their two dogs, Rosie and Lily. In June of 2010, he joined his father, Thomas L. Ferry III in the family business. He is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University and the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City. Dan is a member of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and the Kiwanis Club of Meriden. He enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and snowboarding with his children.

Craig Boyce Licensed Funeral Director

Craig is a lifelong resident of Middletown. He graduated from Middletown High School in 1976 where he met his high school sweetheart Verna. They have three children: Stephanie, A.J. and Ethan. Craig coached his daughter in Middletown Youth basketball and was involved in local Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops with his sons. In 2000, Craig graduated from Briarwood College with a degree in Mortuary Science. Craig joined our team as a Licensed Funeral Director in 2001. Craig is a Red Sox and Dallas Cowboy fan! When he is not working, Craig spends time with his family and their beloved dogs, Owen and Mookie. He is a member of the Order of the Gold Rule Funeral Homes, the National Funeral Directors Association and the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association.

Kimaira Serpa Licensed Funeral Director

Kimaira joined the John J. Ferry & Sons as an experienced funeral director and embalmer in 2009. She earned her Mortuary Science Degree in 2000 from the Briarwood College and is a member of the CT Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and a member of the Order of the Golden Rule, an organization dedicated to the exceptional business etiquette in the funerary profession.

Kim is a native of Puerto Rico and a long-time resident of Meriden, where she and her husband Robert Carrero raised two wonderful children, Yesenia and Kyle. She serves as a Notary Public and as Vice President in the Board of Directors for the Casa Boricua among other organizations. Kim has dedicated her life to bringing families together when they’re at their most vulnerable through her skills, compassionate nature and love for her community.

Allison Sanders Licensed Funeral Director

Allison grew up in Southington and graduated from Southington High School class of 2014 and Lincoln College of New England class of 2017 with an associate degree in Mortuary Science. She completed her apprenticeship at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home in 2018 and subsequently started her career as a licensed funeral director and embalmer with our team.

She and her husband, John, live in South Meriden with their cat, Tobey and their two dogs, Tessa and Nia. She serves as a Notary Public and is a member of the Order of the Golden Rule Funeral Homes, the National Funeral Directors Association, the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association and is an active participant in activities for the Meriden Senior Center.

Patricia Milo Licensed Funeral Director

Trish is the newest member of our team. She is a 2022 graduate of Goodwin University in East Hartford. She received the Goodwin Foundation Compass Scholarship in the spring of 2021 for her essay on why she wanted to become a Funeral Director. She is also the recipient of the Excellence in Clinical Fieldwork Award and has been described as a trailblazer for young women in the profession. She completed her apprenticeship at the end of 2023, and started her career with us as a licensed funeral director. Trish lives in Farmington with her boyfriend, Tom and their two cats, Machine & Gertie. She loves to read, hike, go camping, and take road trips with Tom. Trish is proud to be working with the Meriden community.
