Obituary for Joseph Pugliese


Joseph F. Pugliese, 98, husband of the late Carmille (Prigitano) Pugliese, died on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Midstate Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Clementon, PA on November 27, 1913, he was the son of the late Fransisco and Josephine (Privitera) Pugliese. He had resided in Meriden since 1920. Mr. Pugliese was employed by International Silver Company for many years, retiring in 1979. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by one daughter, Christine Pugliese of Plantsville and one son, Frank J. Pugliese of Meriden.
A private funeral with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery was held. Should friends desire, memorial contributions in his name may be made to: Wounded Warrior Project, PO BOX 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
